Since August 2023, I have been privileged to serve the Brownsville, Texas community as a Family Nurse Practitioner with RGV House Calls and Dr. Alberto Almeida, where I bring comprehensive, compassionate care directly to patients' homes. This role complements my extensive experience in the US Army, where I've spent nine years, including as a Platoon Leader Intensive Care Nurse and a Medical Host Nation Liaison in Jordan. These positions have not only honed my clinical skills but also tested my leadership and coordination abilities under the most challenging conditions.
My academic achievements include a Master’s of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Texas A&M University, and an MBA with a focus on Business Administration from the University of Texas at Brownsville. These qualifications underpin my holistic approach to healthcare, combining clinical expertise with strategic management skills. My career is a testament to my unwavering commitment to advancing healthcare quality and patient care. Whether through direct patient interaction, leading healthcare quality initiatives, or serving in the military, my goal has always been to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those I serve.
